What a week for Ghanaian youngster Edmundo Addo as after starring for his Moldovan side Sherrif Tiraspol he is about to win his first cap for the Black Stars of Ghana.
The combative midfielder helped his Moldovan side defeat Real Madrid 2-1 on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League and is set to replace Fiorentina midfielder Alfred Duncan who is injured.
Reports are that, Addo has been handed a late call up by the handlers of the Black Stars and will be in Ghana next week to prepare with the rest of his teammates.
Alfred Duncan who had been snubbed from the Black Stars under the reign of former coach C.K Akonnor was handed a call up by Milovan Rajevac but has pulled out of the squad due to an injury concern.
Addo has been in good form this season and showed the whole world the stuff he is made of on Tuesday as he starred for his Moldovan side against Real Madrid.
He hasn’t missed a game this season with a total of 12 appearances so far.
