Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana was the hero for his French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes as he helped them record a 2-1 victory on Thursday in the UEFA Conference League match against Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.

The 19 year old winger rescued a win for his side after coming from the bench to score the winner with a cool finish into the botton corner in the second half.

Vitesse Arnhem opened the scores of the game in the first half through German defender Maximillian Wittek in the 30th minute of the game.

The away side responded in the second half with Sehrou Guirassy scoring the equalizer from the penalty spot in the 54th minute to make it 1-1.

Kamaldeen Sulemana who was summoned from the substitutes bench made the difference in the 70th minute as he gave his side the winner after a calm finish into the bottom corner.

Stade Rennais after two matches, are sitting second on the Group G standing, tied with leaders Tottenham Hotspur on four points each.
