Red hot Ghanaian striker Joel Fameyeh continued with his rich vein of form in the lower tier Russian league as he scored for his side FC Orenburg.
Fameyeh netted his eight goal this campaign in his side's league game against PFC Kuban on Wednesday afternon.
There was not much to separate the two sides but for the Ghanaian's goal which proved very decisive in the game.
It appeared the game was headed for a 0-0 draw heading into the break but Fameyeh scored in the 38th minute to give his side a slender lead.
Nothing changed after recess as the away side held firm onto their 1-0 lead as the home side tried in vain to level the score.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC striker lasted 88 minutes before he was replaced by Vladimir Sychevoi.
Fameyeh has scored eight goals in nine appearances for FC Orenburg in Russia's First National League.
